New Adventures...

It has been a very eventful new year for Avery. The world opened up when she turned three as far as classes go and she is all out and about on her own now. Kinda sad, but great too...She started a new gymnastics class that she LOVES and mom just watches from afar. She is very brave and goes all by herself and tells me she listens to her teachers all the time. It is different than her old class as this one is taught at a real gymnastics studio and she gets more one on one time. She also started a creative dance class that she attends by herself which is a little on the slow side for her...after the first class she informed me that this was okay for now, but next time she wanted to do soccer! As of the first of the year she also started primary. She has been so excited to go into the "big kid class" as she calls it. And yesterday she had the assignment of the scripture. We prepared during the week. It didn't take her long to memorize her scripture, and then mom worked the rest of the week on pumping her up to be brave and say it all...with all these new changes our usually confident little Avery has had a few moments of hesitation and apprehension. She has also been reverting back to wanting mom and dad to do EVERYTHING for her...I think it is just a phase, and an adjustment time but... anyway back to the scripture...well...she said it in a soft whisper burrowed into my chest...she was so sweet and proud of herself though...we are so proud of her too! She is growing up so much...here is a video of her saying her scripture a few days before...enjoy:)
******************************************************************************* Isn't that cute? Here are some pics of the weeks new adventures...the pictures of gymnastics didn't turn out too well so I will try to get some at a later date... ********************************************************************************** FIRST DAY OF PRIMARY... Here mom is attempting to capture Avery's first day of Primary...her sister is not cooperating too well, as most 1 year olds do not... ******************************************************************* DANCE CLASS... Warming up for dance class (she's in the pink at the back:) Waiting in line Tre'es across the floor...(note:I am not a speller! Pronounce "tree A" I think:)

Avery is so adorable! I love the video, she is such a smart little girl. I look forward to Arli being old enough to be able to take fun classes. I love the girls dresses too, very cute!

I wanted to tell everyone how spiritual Avery has gotten especially since starting Primary. On a walk the other day, just Avery and aunt Kaci, Avery was very quiet which is definitely unusual. After about 5 minutes of silence, she finally said, "Aunt Kaci, we can teach others the gospel. It makes Heavenly Father happy." She will be a great missionary some day!

Oh, it's so amazing to see these girls grow up. So, moving on from movers and shakers I'm assuming... are you doing gymnastics through parks and rec or through somewhere else?
mikaela starts ballet on WEdnesday, she has been wearing her leotard all over the house for a couple days now, she is just elated. It's true that 3 really does bring so many more big girl things to do!
